Golden Alexander - Zizia aureus - MN Native

Golden Alexander is a 1-3’ tall upright perennial MN wildflower with glossy compound basal leaves. FBlooms from late spring to early summer. Scads of beneficial pollinators flock to the blooms. It is a host plant for Swallowtail caterpillars. This golden beauty thrives in sunny sites with moist loamy soil, hearty and easy to grow.
