Tall Bellflower - Campanula americana - MN Native

Tall Bellflower is a self-seeding biennial plant native to Minnesota. The first year, it will be a short little plant with heart-shaped leaves. The second year, a tall stalk rises up and bright blue flowers bloom along the spike in mid- to late-summer. They die after the second summer, but they are strong self-seeders and will show up year after year in your garden. Occurs naturally in woodland edges in partial shade.
